For foreign founders
Sole-proprietor registration and D visa support
Register remotely with a passport photo. We handle registration, the invitation letter and your D visa application. The package costs EUR 1,200 including fees and processing.
Who this is for
- Foreign nationals registering a sole-proprietor business in Serbia.
- Applicants who need D visa and residence/single-permit application support for self-employment.
- Clients who want ongoing tax and administrative support after registration.
Who this is not for
- Anyone who needs a job offer or employment placement. These are not part of this package.
- Anyone who wants a company purely as an immigration instrument, with no intention of trading.
- Applicants who need legal representation in a dispute or appeal. We provide administrative support, not legal representation.
Package and monthly costs
- Package: EUR 1,200

- Two payments
- EUR 600 for registration and EUR 600 for the D visa process.

- The fixed refund is EUR 400. First-month tax and contributions are a separate business expense, not part of the package or offset against this refund.
- Monthly business costs
- Approximately EUR 300 in tax and contributions plus EUR 50 agency administration. These start at registration, including before visa approval or arrival.
- Optional accommodation
- A place in a shared room in Belgrade: EUR 150 per month. Travel and monthly costs are separate from the package.
Budget approximately EUR 350 per month for the active business, or EUR 500 with the optional room. First-month tax and contributions of approximately EUR 300 are paid separately.
Family applications are quoted separately.
Registration does not guarantee a bank account, visa or residence permit. Banks and authorities decide on applications.

Tell us your goal, citizenship, country of residence and business activity. Additional planning details are optional. Do not send identity documents.
Thank you, we have it.
We will reply by email with the route that applies to you and what it needs.
Registration from abroad
For our foreign sole-proprietor package, send a clear photo of your passport after the initial enquiry. We register the business on your behalf and coordinate the required authorisation. You do not need your own KES/QES certificate or a registration visit to Serbia. D visa documentation is a separate checklist. Bank approval remains the bank's decision.
Invitation letter and D visa application
After registration, we prepare an invitation letter from your registered business. We prepare and submit your D visa application with the required authorisation. The visa file also needs the documents required by the competent mission; a passport photo alone is not a complete visa application.
Embassy attendance before travel
Plan a visit for the visa to be placed in your passport when the mission requires it, before travelling to Serbia. We confirm which embassy handles your country of residence; the nearest embassy may not be competent.
Residence applications may require a separate biometric appointment in Serbia. Registration does not guarantee visa or residence approval.
Taking employment and suspending your business
If you take a job with a Serbian employer, we can register a temporary suspension of your sole-proprietor activity. Once suspension and the employment and immigration status changes are completed, the EUR 300 tax and contributions and EUR 50 agency maintenance charges for the active business stop. The employer handles payroll contributions for your employment. Existing liabilities must still be settled.
Common questions
Does the package include residence support after arrival?
Yes. The EUR 1,200 package includes application support for the applicable residence/single-permit procedure after arrival, along with D visa support, fees and processing. The authorities decide whether to grant the visa or permit.
When do monthly costs start?
From business registration, including the period before visa approval or arrival. Budget approximately EUR 300 for tax and contributions plus EUR 50 for agency administration per month. A place in a shared room in Belgrade is an optional EUR 150 per month.
What happens if my visa is refused?
The fixed refund is EUR 400. First-month tax and contributions are paid separately as a business expense, are not included in the package and are not offset against the refund.
Does opening a company guarantee me Serbian residence?
No. Registration can provide a basis to apply, but the competent authorities decide whether to grant a visa or residence permit.
Can I do the whole thing without coming to Serbia?
Registration is remote and your own KES/QES is not required. Plan to attend the competent Serbian embassy for visa placement when required before travelling to Serbia. A residence application may require a separate biometric appointment in Serbia.
How long does it take?
The published single-permit deadline is 15 days from a properly completed request. It is not a deadline for the D visa or the whole setup. See the timeline guide and confirm your visa timing with the competent mission.
Can I work as soon as I arrive?
If you hold a D visa issued on an employment basis, the official guidance is that it serves as a work permit and lets you begin working immediately on arrival.
Will you open my bank account?
We prepare the documents and coordinate the appointment. The bank decides. Serbia’s guidance on accounts is explicit that a bank freely chooses its clients and independently decides whether to enter a business relationship.
Are you lawyers?
No. Biro Vision is a registered accounting agency. We provide administrative support, document coordination and application preparation. Where a matter needs legal representation, you need a licensed lawyer and we will tell you so.
